Endurance Racing, Britcar 24-Hour Race

Daniels Motorsport has two Honda Civics that are built for endurance racing. These cars are regularly run in the Britcar 24-hour race at Silverstone.

The cars are available on an ‘arrive and drive’ basis (see below) for 1½hr, 2hr, 3hr, 4hr and 24hr races, and have finished seven of the 24hr races with three class wins.

Car Specification – Honda Civic Type R

• 230 bhp, 2000cc with induction kit, custom mapping
• big-bore fabricated exhaust
• Custom Cage roll cage
• AST 3-way adjustable suspension, rose-jointed lower arms
• Quaife torque sensing differential
• Stoptech big brake conversion with carbon metallic pads all round
• HID headlamp conversion, removable 200w spot lamp bar halogen,
• 8x17 lightweight race alloys with Dunlop slicks or wets.

Arrive and drive

All you have to do is drive! Daniels Motorsport supplies one of their race cars fully prepared, set-up and ready to race. This includes:

• transport of vehicle
• paddock set-up of transporter/awning
• scruitineering arrangements
• use of race car with transponder/timer for testing, qualifying and racing
• including fuel, disc pads and tyres
• pit crew, mechanics, time keeping
• all necessary set-up adjustments, maintenance and repairs as required

Not included would be accident damage/insurance and any additional costs of travel to European circuits. This service can also be provided at individual test/track days by arrangement.
